By confirming a booking at Blue Salt Sawtell, guests agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully before finalizing your reservation.
We use Stripe to process all payments securely. You do not need a Stripe account; payments can be made via major Credit Cards, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
Payment Schedule:
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your dates.
The remaining 50% balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival.
For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, 100% payment is required immediately.
We understand that plans can change. Our policy is designed to be fair to both guests and hosts:
Full Refund: 100% of the deposit is refunded if cancelled at least 30 days before check-in.
Partial Refund: 50% of the total booking amount is refunded if cancelled between 14 and 30 days before check-in.
Non-Refundable: Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable.
We highly recommend guests take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
Blue Salt Sawtell operates in accordance with the NSW Code of Conduct for the Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry.
Neighborly Conduct: Guests must not at any time create noise that is offensive to neighbors, especially between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Parties: Strictly no parties, functions, or large gatherings are permitted.
Occupancy: The number of guests must not exceed the number stated in the booking confirmation.
Code Access: A copy of the full Code of Conduct from NSW Fair Trading is available here.
Smoking/Vaping: Both units are strictly smoke-free and vape-free environments (indoors). A $250 specialized cleaning fee applies to any breach.
Pets: We love animals, but our suites are currently pet-free to accommodate guests with allergies.
Damages: Guests are responsible for the cost of repairing any damage to the property or its contents caused during their stay.
Guest Liability: Guests are liable for damage resulting from negligence, intentional acts, or breaches of House Rules.
Reporting: We ask that you report any accidental damage to us immediately so we can prepare the unit for the next guest.
Check-In: From 2:00 PM. Your unique digital door and security system code will be sent 24 hours prior to arrival.
Check-Out: By 10:00 AM. Please ensure the unit is left tidy, all lights/AC are off, and the door is locked upon exit.
The owners of Blue Salt Sawtell take no responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to guest's personal property. Guests stay at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety while on the premises.
